NEW “TORPEDO” FOR THE OLD “CHISEL”
A beautiful front panel appeared in the Samara interior.
Let's start from afar. At one time, the VAZ started the modernization of the "eighth" family. The project was called Samara-2. The result of this work was the VAZ 2115 model - the modernized "ninety-ninth." At first, the offspring differed from the parent only in a retouched appearance. Now the changes have affected the interior: updated cars are equipped with a different instrument panel.
The official index of the new interior element is 2114 (the “ninety-third” model upgraded by the Samara-2 project is also indicated). The panel is made of an elastic material - polypropylene. To give the necessary rigidity to its design, an amplifier is introduced - a channel of two parts, which are connected by a steering column bracket. Will Samara really get rid of one of the old sores - a creak and the roar of a panel - in old age?
Structurally, the panel is closer to low (2108) than to high (21083). She has the same ducts, the same arrangement of heating and ventilation deflectors. The lower panel was warmer, providing better air distribution. A new one with a modernized heater should solve all the “cold” problems. Wait for the winter - check.
The instrument cluster is based on the 2110 shield and differs from it by two liquid crystal indicators - total / daily mileage and clock / outboard temperature indicator.
